Six Feet Under, muchas veces abreviada 6fu o Sfu, es una banda de Death Metal formada en Tampa Florida en 1993 por el cantante Chris Barnes Luego de que este abandonó Cannibal Corpse para dedicarse unicamente a 6FU; Los miembros de Cannibal Corpse dijeron en una entrevista que ellos querian que Chris se valla de la banda debido a que estaba empeorando en el canto y escribia canciones sin mucha originalidad.
